Adjustments

A slight difference in measurements is normal because the measurements provided may not be completely accurate. If the difference is more than 1 inch, you may need to have the dress altered.

For standard-size dresses, we place each dress on a corresponding-size mannequin for a fit check before shipping. We ship the dress only if it fits the mannequin properly. This helps us ensure that our dresses run true to size.

For custom-size dresses, four different team members inspect each dress four times before shipping. This four-step quality check helps us keep measurement differences within 1 inch.

Reimbursements

Although we make your dress according to the measurements you provide, this service is limited to basic custom sizing. You may still need additional alterations at your own expense to achieve your preferred fit.

To provide additional support, we offer a limited alterations reimbursement for all dresses, including standard-size and custom-size dresses. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery. Simply email a photo of your tailor's receipt to service@chicsew.com, and we'll take care of the rest.

The reimbursement limits for custom-size dresses are listed below in USD:

Dresses priced at $99 or less: reimbursement limit of $20
Dresses priced from $100 to $199: reimbursement limit of $30
Dresses priced at $200 or more: reimbursement limit of $40

Note:

Please don't wear tights or other clothing when you measure your selves, that would get your measurements even more bigger, as you will not wear clothing inside when you wear the dress.
lf the difference between your actual measurements and the standard size is less than 1 inch, the dress will fit well. Otherwise. It’s advisable to choose a custom size.
lf you have a larger belly, please provide us with the measurement of your waistline as well.

BUST

Wear the bra you will be wearing with the dress,and pull the tape across the fullest part of the bust.

WAIST

Pull tape across the narrowest part (about 1'' above your belly button) and keep tape slightly loose to allow for beathing room. but if you have big belly, please give us measurements of belly in the note too.

HIP

Stand straight and pull tape across the widest part of the hips and rear, if butt is bigger than hip, please give us butt too.

Hollow to Hem

Stand up straight and measure from the the center of the collarbone,down to where the hem of the dress should hit(excluding any train).
