Color may vary between different fabrics and screens, even with the same color name, there are several options and different color shown, so please order fabric swatches to make sure it's the right color you want, otherwise we are really can't make sure it's right color you want.

Our dresses are available in sizes 0-30. For the best fit, make sure the difference between your bust, waist, hip, and hollow-to-floor measurements (with shoes on) is no more than 1 inch from the standard size. If the difference is larger, we recommend choosing a custom size.

For hip measurements, measure the widest part. If your butt is larger than your hips, please include your butt measurement as well. There’s no extra charge for custom sizing—just enter your measurements on custom size chart, and we will confirm them with you.

Important Note for Plus Sizes (US14+):

For dresses in plus sizes, the ruching and draping may not look exactly as shown due to the longer pleating. If your measurements are inaccurate, this difference will be more noticeable. Please ensure your measurements are as accurate as possible to get the best fit.

For the best fit, your bust, waist, hip, and hollow-to-floor measurements (with shoes on) should not differ by more than 1 inch from the standard size. Simply choosing a larger size won’t guarantee a good fit. For example, if your bust is 1 inch larger but your waist is 4 inches larger, the dress won’t fit properly.
If the difference in measurements is greater than 1 inch, please select a custom size. If the difference is less than 1 inch, then the standard size will work best.

Each dress is checked by 4 different seamstresses to ensure the fit is accurate, we can make sure the error is less than 1 inch. So please make sure your measurements are correct before placing your order, the custom dresses are final sale and are not refundable.If the dress doesn’t fit as expected, there are 3 options:
1), Have it altered at a local shop, and we’ll offer a partial refund based on our adjustment reimbursement policy.
2), Send it back for alterations. We offer free alteration services for all customers. Just contact us for help.
3), Get 20% discount to reorder a new dress with your right measurements, just order it as normal order, we will rush it free for you, delivery time is around 4-10 natural days.

For standard size dresses, we will fit them on the corresponding size mannequin before shipping to ensure they are true to size, we can share you photos of your dress if you need. If the dress doesn’t fit as expected, you have 4 options:
1), Have it altered at a local shop, and we’ll offer a partial refund based on our adjustment reimbursement policy.
2), Send it back for free alterations. Just contact us for assistance.
3), Return it for a refund for dresses size between US0-US14, (for dreses size over US14, they are not refundable). Please note there is 10% restocking fee, shipping cost has been used and non-refundable.
4), Get 20% discount to reorder a new dress with your right measurements, just order it as normal order, we will rush it free for you, delivery time is around 4-10 natural days.

Based on our 13 years of experience, we’ve found that the return rate for plus size dresses, especially mermaid styles, is very high—over 70%. This is because plus size customers often have unique body shapes (larger waist, hips, or butt) that standard sizes can't accommodate, leading to returns and reorders for custom dresses. This not only wastes time but also costs extra money for shipping, and with wedding dates being fixed, delays can cause major issues.
To reduce returns and save you time and money, we strongly recommend ordering a custom size instead of a standard plus size dress, especially if your measurements differ from the standard size by more than 1 inch. If you do order a plus size dress, please note that the ruching and draping may not look exactly as shown, due to longer pleating shape. Any measurement discrepancies will be more noticeable, so please ensure your measurements are accurate.

If your measurements don’t match the size of the dress, the ruching and draping may not look as flattering. This is not an issue with the dress itself—it’s about whether the dress matches your measurements. For the best fit, make sure the difference between your bust, waist, hip, and hollow-to-floor measurements (with shoes on) is no more than 1 inch.

The ruching and draping on our dresses are fixed with stitching, as this is the only way to hold the pleats in place. Since the fabric is soft satin and stretchy, if your measurements are larger than the dress, it will be tight and the pleats will flatten out. If you take off the dress, the stitches may stretch, but you can adjust the pleats by gently pulling them to the sides to restore their shape.

If your measurements are smaller than the dress, the pleats may loosen and lose their shape. In this case, we recommend taking the dress to a local seamstress for adjustments.

We know that it is very important for you to order a dress for your special occasion. However, please note that our dresses are made to order, we will process the order as soon as payment received. Once the tailoring process has begun, there will be Labor Costs and Material Costs.
Unpaid orders will not be processed. If you do not need it, please ignore it.
If you cancel your order within 24 hours of payment, you will be eligible for a full refund.
Cancellation within 24 to 72 hours after the order is paid: you will get a partial refund consisting of 50% of the dress price and the full shipping cost.
Cancellation within 72 to 120 hours after the order is paid: you will get a partial refund consisting of 30% of the dress price and the full shipping cost.
Cancellation beyond 120 hours after the order is paid: you will get a partial refund consisting of 20% of the dress price and the full shipping cost.
Once your order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.
If you need to cancel your order, please email: service@chicsew.com and tell us your order number and phone number. We will calculate the cancellation time according to the time of the email is received. You will get an order confirmation email after payment. Please reply to the email in 24 hours if you need to change any information. If you need to change any information after we start the tailoring, there will be extra cost needed. For example, if you need to change color after we have prepared the material, which will be wasted. We need extra cost to prepare new material. So, if you need to change any information, please tell us clearly by replying the order confirmation email. We will make changes without extra cost if you contact us in 24 hours after payment.

For some reason, if customers don't reply with our confirmation email, your order will be assigned to make within 2 days automatically for rush order, and 3 days for normal order, we can't delay your order after all.

Please note the request on the after-sale problem shall be issued within 7 natural days after the item arrives at you, then package must be returned within 15 natural days from date of delivery, After that period of time, we'll no longer be able to process the return, refund and exchange.
For custom size dresses and plus size dresses (size over US14), they are final sales and not refundable.

The order will be delivered within the confirmed time, we will upload tracking number once package is sent out, so you will get update about tracking status till you get the package. Please report us the loss of package within 30 natural days for DHL and UPS express and 21 natural days for Fedex express from date of shipping otherwise the express will refuse to pay any loss of package since claim has been expired.

We do not offer an exchange service for any products. Because most of our orders are made-to-order dresses. We do not have ready-made dresses that can be shipped in exchange of your returned items. If you insist to exchange, you need to return the unwanted items (if eligible per the return policy) to us first and then place a new order for the replacement items. Prior promotional pricing or discounts used when the original order was placed will not be honored for a new order.
For dresses standard size no bigger than US14 are refundable, for custom size and size over US14 which is not refundable.
Please contact us within one week from date of delivery if you want to exchange, after that period of time, we'll no longer be able to process the return, refund and exchange.

We ship dresses worldwide. Please make sure you have filled a right address and phone number. Please note POBOX and APO address is not available for express. Read more on our shipping policy.

Shipping address can be changed before we sending your package out, but once we send it out, we really can't make sure delivery address can be changed successfully, that's the answer the express always told us, they also charge us $13/package no matter they can change address successfully or not, so the shipping address must be exactly correct。
Please note, once package was delivered, we can't change address any more.

Please do not call express to delivery your package at any time or any place. Please note if you choose ODD(On Demand Delivery) service from DHL express or "MY CHOICE RELEASE" service from UPS express, it means you accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the package, as well as for any loss or damage caused by the package, so if you report us that you didn't receive the package, this case will be refused by express at the first step when we reported the case to DHL or UPS express, so we strongly suggest that don't use this service unless than you can accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the package.

Please do not call express to delivery your package at any time or any place. 1 Check nearby areas like the front door, porch, or side door for your package.

3 Email us (service@chicsew.com) the case number and inform us of the non-receipt. Investigations by DHL, FedEx, and USPS usually conclude within a week, and UPS within two weeks. If confirmed lost, we'll refund you at once or resend a new dress to you within 10 natural days.
4 Please don't file a bank dispute as it can take 1-3 months or longer, during which refunds cannot be processed due to frozen

Shipping cost has been paid before we send package to you, so there is no extra shipping cost in your side, if there is extra cost, then it must be customs taxes, but there is only 1% possibility to pay customs taxes.

If you received information shown that package has been delivered, but actually you didn't get package, please don't worry, please check with your neighbor or family firstly, if they didn't get package, please call your local Express at the first time, then they will give you case number, please forward this case number to us, let's do the rest for you, we will give you update once we get feedback from all express, you will get full payemnt back if they can't find package for you.

General speaking, it will take DHL express around on week to complete investigation, and it will take around 1-2 weeks for UPS and Fedex to complete investigation.

Please give us your measurement of bust with bra if you want to wear bra, then if you don't want to wear bra, then give us measurement of bust without bra.

Our dresses are machine washable and will look brand new after washing. If there are any wrinkles, simply use a garment steamer. If you have a steam iron, you can do this yourself. For light wrinkles, you can hang the dress in the bathroom while taking a hot shower— the steam should be enough to smooth out minor wrinkles. Be sure to hang it up when you're not wearing it to keep it in good condition.
